Delivering timely, high quality data in the right formats is crucial to the success of virology clinical trials. Cerba Research has developed unique pipelines specifically for the analysis of viral and microbiome NGS data. Our Athena pipeline was designed for analyses of virology data and has been tested on HBV, HCV, RSV, CMV, HIV and SARS-CoV-2 while the 16S microbiome pipeline is a bacterial pipeline using next-generation sequencing data of the 16S region. We can also customize our existing pipelines or develop tailor-made new pipelines for customers.

Athena virology pipeline
Athena analyzed over 20,000 samples and was involved in 73 clinical trials. It is tested on a number of viruses, such as HBV, HCV, RSV, CMV, HIV and SARS-CoV-2. Our systems are GxP and 21CFR part 11 compliant to ensure record authenticity, integrity and confidentiality. Every pipeline comes with one or multiple scientific validation reports where we prove that the analyses performed by the software is indeed scientifically correct.
