As a leading diagnostic and clinical trial operation service company specializing in virology and immunology, Cerba Research provides a wide range of preclinical services to test the safety, effectiveness, PK, and (immune) toxicology of antivirals, drugs, antibodies, and vaccines that target infectious diseases.

We have extensive experience with multiple viral targets such as SARS-CoV-1, MERS-CoV, polio, and influenza virus.

Several animal models are available, including ferrets, mice, rabbits, guinea pigs, cotton rats, and others.

Assays for Preclinical Services

We also perform (histo)pathology assays to evaluate the disease progression of viruses and provide diagnostic assays that have been validated to quantify cell-mediated and serological immune responses and assays to detect the presence of viruses and quantify virus load in various tissues. Assays can be tailor made to meet customer demand according to the 3 R’s.

At Cerba Research, we are committed to advancing the field of virology by developing innovative models that monitor therapeutic efficacy and the development of antiviral resistance. Our in-house team of experts is dedicated to developing models applicable to a wide range of viral diseases, including pathogenesis and H7N9 influenza infection, as well as immunocompromised animal models.
